Winter Essentials

Hey y’all! Happy Monday! I hope that you all had a wonderful weekend and a positive start to your week. I had a very low key, lazy weekend myself and I have zero complaints. I really needed some time to just relax and recharge my batteries. I haven’t been feeling 100% and rest normally fixes that for me.

Can you believe that Christmas is only a week away?!? I feel like it was Halloween like 5 minutes ago. Time is seriously flying by so fast!! I am almost done with my Christmas shopping and considering that I only have to pick up a few bottles of wine and gift cards, I consider that to be a win!

Now that winter time + cold weather season is in full swing, I decided to round up all of my favorite must have items for winter.

~ Boots. You can NOT have enough pairs of boots in your wardrobe in my opinion. From rain boots and snow boots, to riding boots and OTK boots, I could literally have every style, in every color and still want more. LOL! What can I say, I am a total girl and love to shop!! These are a few of my top picks.

~ Fleece. I absolutely love fleece and Sherpa jackets/pullovers for cold winter months. They are so warm and cozy, and can be dressed super casual, worn around the house, or just worn with a pair of denim and boots.

~ Scarfs + toboggans. I seriously love wearing a toboggan in the wintertime. I think it’s just so cute. I normally wear an oversized top or a flannels with leggings or skinny denim and boots. I feel like adding a scarf and toboggan is so good for layering. My favorite place to buy both as of recently is Amazon, Nordstrom or Old Navy.

~ Puffer vests/jackets. Old Navy currently has my favorite puffer vest. It is lined with fleece on the inside [I didn’t even realize this until I received my order lol] and it is SO warm. It also comes in several different colors, but I of course bought it in black.

Anyways, I hope you babes have an awesome rest of your week! Bundle up and happy shopping! :-)

Holiday Party Outfits

Hey y’all! I hope that everyone had a great Halloween and that November is off to a fabulous start for you. My birthday came and went SO fast, just like the entire month of October. Work has still been super busy, but busy is a good thing! I am starting the process of planning our company holiday party and I am so pumped! I absolutely love the holidays, especially Christmas. I also really love planning events as well. It’s so awesome that I am able to do this with my job. Serious question though…Is it bad that I am ready to decorate for Christmas?! LOL sorry not sorry!

I have also started shopping for something to wear to our work holiday party. DUH priorities! Express has some AMAZING dresses and outfits for holiday party attire. Think sequins, shiny, and gorgeous and luxurious.

I haven’t purchased any of these gorgeous items yet, but I am definitely going to for sure!! Below are my top picks from my mini Express try-on session. Anyways, I hope that everyone has an awesome week!
