Sweater Weather with Abercrombie & Fitch

Hey everyone!! I hope that your Monday was nothing short of spectacular. My day was super busy, but Monday’s usually are for me. I know that it has been a few weeks since I have blogged. I have honestly just had SO much going on. Life got slightly crazy for a moment there, but I seem to have adjusted (thank goodness!). We have finally started experiencing cooler temperatures in Atlanta, which is amazing because I am tired of sweating every time I walk outside. LOL! But seriously though….we normally go from summer to winter here. Fingers crossed that we get to experience an experience actual fall weather before it gets frigid outside! But rest assured, I will be ready for it once it arrives. Abercrombie & Fitch is currently having an AWESOME sale right now. It’s so funny because I always use to wear Abercrombie & Fitch when I was in high school. Shopping there again now has kind of taken me back! HAHA. They have a great selection of sweaters and tops that are to die for. I am going to go through a few of my top picks below.

1.       The crew-neck fringe sweater. If it has fringe just go ahead and sign me right on up, okay?! It is very warm and toasty, yet breathable. It is also a crew-neck, so for you ladies that work in an office environment, it is totally appropriate for work.

2.       Sherpa Open Front Cardigan. I really cannot get enough of this item. It is soft, cozy, and SO warm. It also comes in about 3 different colors. This is something that I would wear with a tee shirt and leggings, or I would also wear it to the office (I work in a super casual environment, praise the lord).

3.       Button front sweater. This is such a cute little sweater. The gold buttons add such an adorable detail, making it super feminine in my opinion. I am actually ordering it in emerald green and not black. No I am not sick, I am just trying to make an actual effort to branch outside and incorporate some color into my wardrobe.

4.       Waffle lace up top. This is definitely a more casual top, but would be cute paired with leggings or a great pair of denim.

These are just a few my picks from this sale. They actually have some sort of sale or discount going on quite often. It’s just one of those things you have to stay on top of. Anyways, I am signing off for the night. I have had my nose buried in a computer screen all day. Therefore, it is time to relax with Netflix and a glass of natural calm so that I can rest my mind a bit! I hope you all have a terrific Tuesday tomorrow!!

Hey y’all! Happy Friday eve! It has been SUCH a busy week at work. I have started blogging and writing content every night this week when I’ve gotten home, but I have been so exhausted, so I am a little behind on posting. I will take being a busy bee over being bored any day though!

Anyone who really knows me knows that I am a big Marshall’s shopper. I literally go every single Saturday morning after I hit the gym. It is just one of those stores that makes me happy when I am there LOL [don’t laugh…we all have our own version of our happy place]. I have recently seriously began raiding their makeup and skincare section. I have found some really great products for a fraction of the cost [SCORE!] I frequently use some of the serums by Pearlessence and Valjean Labs and I really love those products. I came across a mask this weekend and it is a Valjean Labs products. It is called “Renew” and I am pumped to tell you guys alllll about it.

This awesome mask contains collagen and fruit enzymes [think anti-aging]. It is actually really more of a gel than a mask. It does not lather up or anything like that. It’s very simple to use. After you cleanse your face, simply apply across your face/neck/chest. Make sure to rub it in thoroughly and let it dry before you move onto the next step in your skincare regimen. It is very lite and refreshing. A few things to keep in mind: if you use this and it causes any irritation whatsoever you should definitely discontinue use. Of course, I am not a doctor so if you have any specific conditions, questions, or concerns PLEASE do yourself a favor and consult your physician prior to using any type of product.

Although I bought this at a discounted price from Marshall’s, another retailer that carries Valjean Labs is Urban Outfitters. Even better, their products are VERY affordable [even paying full price].

That’s all I’ve got for today. I am working on more posts so please stay tuned! :-)

J Crew Factory Finds

Hey y’all! First of all…HAPPY HUMP DAY! I hope that everyone had had wonderful start to this week. My week has been a bit chaotic [meaning that I am surviving and trying my best to make it to the weekend LOL!] I have had to remind myself several times this week that it could be MUCH worse so I should not complain.

One thing I have wanted to post about all week is the freakin’ amazing sale that J.Crew Factory is running currently. It is 40% and truthfully, that just makes my heart skip a beat! I have recently started shopping there and it has not disappointed me one bit. The quality of the clothes is so amazing and perfect for me or anyone else that works in an office setting (yay for being in the corporate world!). I wanted to share some of my current must haves [I’m gonna need pay day to hurry up and get here LOL].

1. Funnelneck Sweatshirt. This sweatshirt is to die for! Soft, cute, comfy, and casual….need I say more? I would style this with denim + a cute pair of converse OR black fabletics leggings + a cute pair of sneakers. Perfect weekend outfit for running errands and shopping.

2.  Glitter camouflage collector T-shirt. Camo is one of my absolute favorite trends right now. So cute to just throw on go. Pair with a cute pair of destroyed denim + flipflops (yes, I live in the south and yes again, we wear flipflops until mid October sometimes) or my black Steve Madden lancer sneakers.

3.  Gingham shirt jacket. Anyone who knows me or follows me knows that I am all about neutrals (#allblackeverything), but I love a good gingham print. It is just one of those prints that I would gladly take in every color. This would be so cute with black leggings + boots for fall.

4.  Ruffle front top in clip dot - This top is perfect for work in you work in an office or corporate setting. It’s is feminine, lite, and airy and I just really love it. I would pair it with cute leopard print flats + ankle crop pant. Cute and comfortable for work is top priority for me when I put my outfits together.

5.       Faux leather jacket - I feel like I don’t even really have to explain why I love this. I feel like everyone needs a great leather jacket in their wardrobe. It’s a staple that is so versatile. I would pair it with destroyed denim (dark wash or black) and an adorable pair of boots. When it’s colder outside you can add a scarf for warmth.

Athia Skincare: Why I LOVE these products

Am I the only women who is on the brink of being 30 years old who still has issues with breakouts? And on top of that, being close to 30 years old means one thing….an anti-aging skincare regimen is a MUST. Honestly, I have had acne for about as long as I can remember. In my mid 20’s, I started to experience hormonal cystic acne. Yes, it really is as bad as it sounds. Incredibly painful, impossible to cover up with makeup, and just plain gross. My self-esteem took a brutal beating for quite some time because of constant breakouts that never seemed to stop.

After many visits to the dermatologist and trying most prescription medications under the sun, I just kind of gave up at one point. It was so frustrating and upsetting to try a new product and think “I hope this is the one that actually works,” only to realize it worked…temporarily. Then the breakouts came back (and with a vengeance!). I have tried many different products the last few years – from Rodan & Fields, to Burt’s Bee’s, Obagi, Eminence Organics….I think you get what I am saying.

Luckily, I have found some awesome products in the last few months that have really helped my skin and I just have to share it with you. One day when scrolling through Instagram, I came across an ad for Athia Skincare. I went to their page on Instagram and was intrigued by their content, so I went to their actual website. The first item that I purchased was a retinol night cream. It is an anti-aging moisturizer for your skin that is so amazing! It is very light (not heavy or thick like some moisturizers), yet effective. I have been using it for a few weeks now each night when I wash my face and I can definitely tell a difference.

The second product that I have purchased and began using is the daily facial cleanser. It is an anti-aging cleanser that is infused with coconut. It smells SO good and also leaves your skin feeling so soft. It is incredibly effective as well, but perfect for those with sensitive skin. I have only used this cleanser a few times, so I will keep you all posted on the progress that my skin will [hopefully] make.

These products are absolutely amazing and I plan on purchasing more products to try out in the future. Head over to their website www.athiaskin.com and check them out! If you try any of their products, comment below your thoughts and let me know your thoughts/opinions and all about your experience!

Till next time,
